Final concept images revealed for Brackenridge Park’s new, inclusive play area Project aims to open in October of 2026
SAN ANTONIO – You can call it the playscape constructed by the community.
Over the past several months, the Brackenridge Park Conservancy has been discussing plans for a new, inclusive play area.
The third and final community input meeting was held on Monday night at Lions Field Adult and Senior Center on Broadway Street.
Those in charge of the park say the community’s input on what they want has been instrumental in shaping the vision of the new playscape.
A common theme among the input is building a place for everyone to enjoy.
The meeting presented the final concept images of the proposed Brackenridge Park Nature Playscape Project.
Currently, the goal for the project’s opening is October 2026.
