Investigation underway after body found in downtown area of San Antonio Roads reopen after police urge public to avoid multiple intersections
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have reopened roads downtown following an investigation on Monday evening.
Dozens of officers were at the intersections of West Commerce Street and North Flores Street, as well as West Houston Street and North Flores Street.
Once KSAT arrived on the scene, a body was noticed underneath a yellow tarp.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner is undergoing an investigation regarding the circumstances of the death.
KSAT has reached out to SAPD for more information.
SAPD initially urged the public to avoid the area for several hours, but normal traffic has since resumed.
