USPS unveils new money order design to combat scams

The United States Postal Service has introduced a new redesigned money order aimed at stopping scammers from getting your money.

The newly designed legacy postal money order will feature a new bank routing number and is red, white and blue in color.

The money order will have a new watermark, security thread and QR code that will direct users to the USPS website.

The new orders will be released in February. Both designs will continue to be accepted at postal retail units until the current order’s stock is depleted.
