Churchill coach Glenn Hill retires after 34 years

SAN ANTONIO – Churchill head football coach Glenn Hill is calling it a career after 34 years in coaching.   

Hill, 56, informed his team Monday afternoon of his decision. Hill coached at Roosevelt, Conroe and most recently Churchill High School for the past six years.

He was the defensive coordinator of the Roosevelt team that won a 5A state championship in 1995.

He was Roosevelt's head coach when the Rough Riders advanced to the 4A state semifinals in 2000.

The East Central Grad is the brother of Smithson Valley head coach Larry Hill.

Glenn Hill ends his coaching career with an overall record of 114 wins and 84 losses. He did not publicly say what he plans to do next.
