Baltimore rookie right-hander Brandon Young lost his bid for the first perfect game in Orioles history with four outs remaining Friday night in a 7-0 win over the Houston Astros.

SAN ANTONIO – After a documented pattern of misconduct including an excessive force allegation and a family violence arrest, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office moved forward with firing a jailer, according to records obtained by KSAT. In July, deputies arrested Young on family violence charges at his home. Deputies deployed a taser on Young, who refused to go into custody, the sheriff’s office previously said. According to the records, Young received six letters of reprimand, a letter of counseling, two suspensions and a dismissal from the peace officer course due to crashing a fleet vehicle, according to the records. Following Young’s arrest in July, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said he planned on firing Young due to a “continuing pattern of misconduct.”

SAN ANTONIO An off-duty corporal with the Bexar County Sheriffs Office was tased and arrested by his fellow deputies for an alleged assault, according to the BCSO. Deputies tried to place Young in custody, but a struggle ensued and a taser was deployed, officials said. Young was employed with the sheriffs office since March of 2016 and was assigned to the Detention Bureau, according to the BCSO. After Youngs arrest, Sheriff Salazar initiated termination proceedings due to a continuing pattern of misconduct.This suspects pattern of misconduct, which culminated in last nights arrest by BCSO deputies is extremely disturbing. Hes also charged with resisting arrest, another Class A misdemeanor with bond set at $1,000.
