ORIGINAL REPORT: So, about that poll suggesting Texas is the most-hated state in the nation...Below are some of the reactions on social media to the poll:Envy, table for 49!!! Their โmost hated statesโ poll was based on an analysis of people who have recently moved out of each state and a Gallup poll of which citizens felt the most pride in their home states - um, who has more pride in their state than Texans? Itโs worth noting a 2019 report from KSAT showed that Texas is actually one of the fastest-growing states in the country with the majority of new residents coming in from California and Florida.

SAN ANTONIO โ Did you know that this month 182 years ago the Battle of the Alamo took place? Thatโs right - on this day in 1836, Antonio de Padua Marรญa Severino Lรณpez de Santa Anna y Pรฉrez de Lebrรณn - aka general Santa Anna was making his way to the Alamo with about 4000 soldiers. Santa Annaโs army overpowered the outnumbered Alamo defenders, and the siege ended with a majority of the volunteers deceased. After Santa Annaโs victory - the Alamo became occupied by Mexican forces as Santa Anna marched to what is today Houston. General Santa Anna lost the battle near San Jacinto that day - was captured - and came to terms to end the war.
