The propositions include restrictions on the creation of certain taxes, new tax exemptions, investments on water infrastructure and dementia research.

Proposition 6 focuses on the state’s water supply. If approved by voters, it create the Texas Water Fund.

The San Antonio River Authority’s (SARA) Board of Directors adopted a resolution endorsing Proposition 6, which would — if approved by voters in November — create more investments in Texas’ water infrastructure and finance water projects.

Early in the pandemic, visitations at nursing homes and assisted living facilities were banned to protect the people inside, and now, Texas voters have the chance to not allow that to happen again.
