A San Antonio man faces multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping, after a vehicle pursuit that began in San Antonio and ended in Live Oak County on Sunday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

An officer discharged his firearm during a pursuit on the South Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Lytle Police Chief Richard Priest says his officers are dealing with a rising number of pursuits and bailouts involving migrants, responding to five this week.
