The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department announced the opening of its 83rd paddling trail, this time coming to land near the Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area and State Park near Port O’Connor.

Pedernales Falls State Park has made 23 heat-related rescues this summer. They are warning people to be careful while visiting.
