(CNN) - Columbia Sportswear "matriarch" Gert Boyle has died at age 95, the company announced Sunday. That toughness was key to the way Boyle one of the few women leaders in the male-dominated sportswear industry approached running the business. They landed in Portland, where her father Paul Lamfrom founded the company that would become Columbia Sportswear. Instead, Boyle kept Columbia and led it to become a leader in the outdoor footwear and apparel industry globally alongside her son and current CEO Tim Boyle. "Gert's humor and business savvy were sought by many people at Columbia Sportswear Company and she was truly beloved."
Ted Bundy's Longtime Girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall to Speak Out in New Docuseries
Ted Bundys longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kendall, and her daughter, Molly, are opening up after nearly 40 years of silence. The two will speak out in an all-new, five-part docuseries, Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer, chronicling the serial killers relationship with Kendall, which coincided with his murdering spree throughout the Northwestern United States. The streaming platform also reignited interest in the serial killer 30 years after his death with the four-part docuseries, Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, which featured audiotapes of Bundys interviews from behind bars. Meanwhile, the Bundy docuseries is the latest true-crime original from Amazon, which previously released Lorena, the Jordan Peele-produced documentary about Lorena Bobbitt and her husband, John Wayne Bobbitt. Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer is slated for a 2020 debut only on Amazon Prime.
