Rivers at dangerous levels across South Texas — stay alert
The Guadalupe River is still on the move. It crested near levels that rival the deadly July 4th flood — hitting 38 feet at Center Point and 36 feet at Comfort — and a dangerous flood wave is now pushing downstream. If you're in Kendall or Guadalupe County, including Spring Branch, major flooding is expected tonight into early tomorrow morning. But it's not just the Guadalupe. The Medina River is rising near Bandera with major flood stage expected, threatening parks along the riverbank. Cibolo Creek is also a serious concern for Sutherland Springs, Falls City, and Karnes County through Saturday morning. These are life-threatening conditions. #TexasFlooding #HillCountryFlood #GuadalupeRiver #TxWx #SanAntonioWeather
