Convicted sex offender hasn't been seen for 5 years

Lawrence Clark, 55, accused of failing to register as sex offender

SAN ANTONIO – A convicted sex offender who is required to report his home address to law enforcement hasn't done so since 2011. He's now wanted for violating conditions of his supervised release.

The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force has been looking for Lawrence Wayne Clark for more than a year. He was first featured as a fugitive on KSAT-12 in May 2015.

The Texas Sex Offender Registry shows photos of Clark and that he last reported his address in Bandera County in 2011.

"Back in 2004, Clark plead guilty and was sentenced to 6 years in prison for being found in possession of multiple images of child pornography," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

After he was released from prison, Clark was ordered to serve 20 years of supervised release. The conditions included reporting to supervision and registering as a sex offender.

"Clark is a known sexual predator. No child is safe until we put him back behind bars," said Bozeman.

Clark was born in Massachusetts. He has lived in San Antonio and Pipe Creek, Texas.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blond hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
