Fugitive with ties to Northwest SA wanted since Jan. 2014

Ruben Rodriguez, 46, accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child

SAN ANTONIO – For the second time in more than one year, the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public's help to find a man accused of a sex crime on a teenage girl.

Ruben Rodriguez, 46, was accused of the attack on the girl, who was under the age of 16 in Jan. 2014.

"Before police could contact Rodriguez and question him, he immediately went into hiding to avoid prosecution," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

Rodriguez was first featured on KSAT-12 in June 2015.

"Rodriguez is a known sexual predator and we definitely don't want this to happen again," said Bozeman.

Rodriguez was last known to live on the Northwest side of San Antonio.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
