Recall Roundup: Nature Valley, Clif, Kashi bars recalled

Recalls due to possible listeria risk

SAN ANTONIO – The FDA is urging consumers to check their pantries after Clif Bar, General Mills and Kashi recalled various energy, protein and nut bars over listeria concerns.

Clif Bar and Company issued a voluntary recall of three flavors: Clif Bar Nuts and Seeds energy bar, Sierra Trail Mix energy bar and Mojo Mountain Mix trail mix bar.

The bars were recalled after the company found an ingredient supplier, SunOpta, distributed sunflower kernels that are potentially contaminated with listeria, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
