SAN ANTONIO – Fiesta 2017 may still be months away, but organizers are encouraging local artists to help design a new poster for Fiesta Fiesta.
The “My Fiesta” poster contest is hoping to create a fresh look while maintaining an image that is true to the event’s traditions.
In a news release, organizers hope artists “create submissions that represent the edgy and modern style of urban art while incorporating the spirit and theme of love and unity in our City and Fiesta San Antonio.”
Deadline for submission in Sept. 30. and can be delivered to the Fiesta Commission office at 2611 Broadway Road.
Winners will receive $2,000 and five percent of the net profits on merchandise inspired by the poster. They will also be honored at media day in March.
