SAN ANTONIO – Week six of 'The Bachelor' had some very interesting developments.
Taylor wasn’t leaving without a fight after being sent home on the two-on-one date. Oh, Taylor. Can you please have a little bit of respect for yourself? You know this isn’t going to go well.

She tried to convince Nick that he had been lied to and manipulated. She didn’t hold back but it was too little too late. Shocker. It didn’t change a thing. Nick is clearly all about Corinne and no one is going to change his mind. Wow, I’m getting tired of saying that.
Later, Josephine, Jaimi and Alexis (the dolphin/shark) were sent home. Finally! I have no idea how they stuck around this long. They were comic relief, but it was clear there was nothing there. I’m glad Nick finally quit stringing them along.
Kristina got the one-on-one date in St. Thomas. She has been hiding in the background but I was glad she finally had a chance to shine. My heart broke when she told her story. She talked about her childhood in Russia without food, eating lipstick, growing up in an orphanage and coming to the United States. Her maturity scored some big points with me … and Nick. I was glad she made the most of the lemons life threw at her. Nick was smart to give her the rose at the end of the date. It’s crazy when I look at her and then look at Corinne. They are polar opposites of each other. How could he switch so easily from one to the other?
The group date was just plain crazy. After some drinks and a pitiful game of sand volleyball, the ladies just wanted to hang out with Nick. Instead he chose to spend time chasing after drunk Corinne.
The ladies were over it and I don’t blame them at all! Nick tried to salvage the hot mess in the second part of the date, but his time was dominated by reassuring most of the ladies.
Then there was Jasmine. Let’s just keep piling on the crazy. After feeling overlooked, she flew off the deep end and confronted Nick. Her honesty made him look like he wanted to jump off the nearest cliff.
But wait, there’s more. Her shenanigans took an even more awkward turn when she joked about strangling him. This girl is crazy!
I kind of wanted to turn off my TV. This was just too hard to watch. At that point you knew it was all over for her. She dug herself in a deep hole. Her rollercoaster of emotions got the best of her. Nick couldn’t deal and sent her home. Thank goodness, that was ridiculous. I’m sorry, Jasmine, he was just never that into you.
I’m not sure why this made Nick unravel, but something caused him to snap. It made him question his relationships with the other ladies. This is so crazy to me. He’s done this before. He knows how things work. Why is he struggling so much?
Danielle L. and Whitney were stuck on another two-on-one date and it was way different than the last one. This was such a crazy pairing. He clearly has a connection with both ladies. Alas, Whitney wasn’t doing it for him and was sent home.
Honestly, I don’t really feel like he gave her a real chance. Then things got weird. He was clearly in his head during his time with Danielle L. She tried to be open but it was forced and super awkward to watch.
For a second, it looked like Nick was about to pass out. He looked like he was in another place. It was clear he was just getting ready to send her home. Then came the awkward silences once she dropped the bomb that she was in love with him.
Things did not get any easier when he said goodbye to her. Now I know she’s not the most exciting choice, but this elimination stunned me. I thought she was going to at least make it to hometown dates.
Nick fell apart when he spoke to the ladies. He said he’s scared this might not work out for him. This was such a drama queen moment. Come on, Nick, get it together. You have a connection with the six remaining ladies!
His epic, super dramatic, walk out raised a lot of questions. Is Nick going to walk away? What does this mean for his future with the ladies? So many questions! I can’t handle it!
Now it’s time for my producer predictions, assuming Nick comes back. First up, hometown dates:
- Corinne
- Rachel
- Raven
- Vanessa
Then, Fantasy Suite dates:
- Vanessa
- Rachel
- Raven
