SAN ANTONIO – The wife of a businessman known for his over-the-top television commercials for his optical and tattoo shops is seeking a divorce.
Tina Yuchnitz filed for divorce in early November after her husband, Michael Yuchnitz, was arrested for attempting to hire a man to killer her. Yuchnitz is currently free on bond.

During a hearing to establish temporary orders while the couple's divorce is pending, Judge Peter Sakai ordered that the couple come up with a business plan to keep their five stores in operation while the divorce is pending.
Sakai also ordered that a joint bank account containing $500,000 be frozen with the exception of withdrawing money to pay for legal fees.
He also ordered that Michael Yuchnitz not be allowed on the premises of any of the businesses.
Tina Yuchnitz was accompanied to court by a uniformed San Antonio Police officer whom she hired as a body guard following the disclosure of the plot.
The hearing will continue on Wednesday.
