They say they'd been watching Rodriguez for awhile.
Undercover agents had made several drug buys from Rodriguez and associates involving high grade crystal meth.
When the feds caught Rodriguez they say he had crystal meth, cocaine, heroin and marijuana in his possession.
He also had a flak jacket, brass knuckles and more than $10,000 in cash.
Investigators say they'd been working the Rodriguez case for months and have tied him to the Texas Syndicate prison gang.
He's now held without bond in federal custody.
The feds also say they arrested 20 year-old Shelby Stuck and she now faces state drug charges.
The Rodriguez arrest is part of a combined effort of the DEA, Comal Co. Sheriff's Office, Guadalupe Co. Sheriff's Office and the New Braunfels Police Department.
