SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police arrested a man they believe is behind a series of robberies at area McDonald's restaurants.

Roy Chavez, 32, was taken into custody in connection with two robbery cases.

Police began an investigation after a robbery at a McDonald's on Southwest Military Drive.

A few days later, police received another call for a robbery at the McDonald's on DeZavala Road.

They said the suspect walked up to the drive-through with a gun in a McDonald's bag and pointed it at an employee.

Police were investigating that case when they received word of yet another robbery at a McDonald's on Interstate 10.

Police said Chavez could face more charges if the cases are connected.
