Inmate kills self with plastic spoon Robert Rodriguez found bleeding, taken to hospital No description found
SAN ANTONIO – An inmate in the Bexar County jail died Wednesday. The county confirmed 29-year-old Robert Rodriguez was found bleeding and unconscious around noon.
He was transported to Santa Rosa Hospital downtown, where he was pronounced dead. Rodriguez was jailed on misdemeanor charges.
Jail officials say his death appears to be caused by self-inflicted wounds from a plastic spoon he hand made sharp and used to stab himself.
