SAN ANTONIO – A winning Texas Lotto ticket was sold on Wednesday night, but as of Thursday, no one has come forward to claim the $32 million jackpot.
The ticket, sold at the Thelma Food Store on the 24000 block of Pleasanton, had a cash option payout.
As word spread of the winning ticket, increased traffic could also be seen at the store.
"It has been bringing in a lot more clientele and especially all the news coming from this morning," said store worker Rick Salazar. "My goodness. I don't think we've seen this much action in a good little while."
Store workers say they usually see repeat customers, and hope the winning ticket belongs to one of their regulars.
The store will also be receiving a cash reward, for selling the winning ticket.
"I hope it's someone who really could use it, because a lot of people have fallen on hard times," said Salazar.
