SAN ANTONIO – After years of growing out his hair, 10th-grader Jeffry Huseman is getting it all cut off.
It won't cost him a dime, because he's taking advantage of free haircuts at Williams Barber College on the city's East Side.

The Omega Psi Phi fraternity has sponsored the "cue" cuts for the past 12 years.
Each year, more people are taking advantage of the free service.
Jimmie McMillion, from Omega Psi Phi, ran Thursday's event.
"A fresh haircut boosts my self-esteem so I'm glad I can do the same for some little kid," he said.
McMillion said more than 500 kids will get haircuts over the next two days.
He says it's just a way the fraternity can give back to the community.
Enrique Delgado brought his three nephews. After waiting about an hour for the haircuts, he said, "It gives them a little boost. It helps them feel more prepared (and) ready for school and really get them excited to go back to school already."
And as students patiently waited for the next open chair, barbershop owner Elon Silas said he believes their new cuts will give them hope for a brighter tomorrow.
"A haircut changes everything for a person. It makes you feel good about yourself," said Silas.
Williams Barber College will give free haircuts again Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The barbershop is located at South W.W. White on the city's East Side.
