SAN ANTONIO – In what appears to be a super-sized show of Aggie spirit, a Houston attorney paid $115,000 for a license plate that reads 12THMAN.
A press release said Tony Buzbee won the auction, with proceeds going to Texas A&M University and the General Revenue Fund of Texas.

Buzbee won't use the license plate himself. He plans to give it to a decorated war veteran and fellow Aggie.
"I'm not saying who it is yet, but I see him as a 12th Man to our country," the release quoted Buzbee, a former officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. "He did a lot more than pay a hundred thousand dollars for a license plate."
Buzbee will receive the plate this Saturday at Kyle Field when the Aggies take on SEC defending national champion Alabama.
