A man accused of writing a bad check agrees to a 10 year prison term.

SAN ANTONIO – A man accused of writing a bad check agreed to a ten year prison term.

Mario Ybarra, 47, pled no contest Wednesday to the second degree felony charge of forgery of the elderly and agreed to a ten year prison sentence just prior to jury selection earlier in the day.

Ybarra is accused of taking money from a woman in her late 60s to bond out of jail, and then writing her a bad check for $600 as a repayment.
