SAN ANTONIO – A former civilian contractor for Brooks Army Medical Center was sentenced to federal prison for downloading child porn.
Victor Zamarron, 55, was found to be downloading and viewing child porn through the government computer system after a routine information technology inspection in September of 2012.

A subsequent search warrant was issued which resulted in the seizure of two computers that were found to have more than 30,000 images depicting child pornography.
Zamarron pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child porn on June 24, 2013.
Zamarron was sentenced to 210 months in federal prison followed by 50 years of supervised release.
