Missing Hays boy, 7, located with mother Benjamin Cotton Auberry found near Tulsa, Oklahoma
Suspect: Stephanie Anne Cotton; Missing Child: Benjamin Cotton Auberry
Missing 7-year-old Hays County boy Benjamin Cotton Auberry was located Tuesday night with his mother, Stephanie Anne Cotton, just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hays County sheriff's deputies were called to a home in Wimberley early Tuesday, where they said Cotton had taken the boy.
Cotton was said to have an extensive criminal history, including warrants issued for felong burglary and felony interferance with child custody.
Family of Cotton notified authorities after she showed up to her father's home Tuesday night.
Cotton was taken into custody with charges of burglary felony and interference with child custody.
Arrangements are now being made to extradite Cotton to Hays County and to get Auberry back to Wimberley with his guardian.
