SAN ANTONIO – At least three children were injured when their school bus hit a car on Loop 410 Thursday morning.
The crash happened just after 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of 410 just past Perrin Beitel.
A car was on the left side of a George Gervin Academy bus when the bus suddenly changed lanes.
It hit the passenger's side of the car -- causing some damage to the front bumper.
There were several children on the bus. One child was taken away on a stretcher; another was carried from the bus by a firefighter and a third was able to walk to the ambulance.
They were taken to Northeast Baptist Hospital for treatment.
As for the driver of the bus and the driver of the car, they were not hurt.
No one else was inside the car.
