Man killed in big rig crash identified Medical examiner: Warren Kadrmas, 44, crashed into back of 18-wheeler
A man killed when his small car crashed into an 18-wheeler on Interstate 35 early Thursday morning has been identified.
The medical examiner has identified him as Warren Kadrmas, 44.
San Antonio police said Kadrmas rear-ended the big rig around 1:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the interstate between Walzem and Eisenhauer roads.
Investigators said construction was being done in the area and the driver of the 18-wheeler slowed down due to lane closures. SAPD officials said Kadrmas failed to slow down and struck the big rig.
