Haven For Hope is a program aimed at helping the homeless in San Antonio overcome the challenges they face.
On Thursday, 16 people graduated from the Haven For Hope's Employment Readiness Program.
The graduates learned how to write resumes, look for jobs and even went through a money management course.
The program helps them outline their goals for the future and for many, it's a new beginning.
"Before here I had a brain injury. This place has been great to help me start over and get back on track," said graduate Cindy Robalin.
The Walmart Foundation donated $50,000 to the program Thursday night.
Since opening in 2010, Haven For Hope has helped more than 1,500 people find employment.
