Cycle rider killed in New Braunfels crash

No description foundNEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A man is dead after his motorcycle was struck Sunday afternoon by a woman on a busy New Braunfels road.
Police say 55-year-old Juan Manuel Godina of McQueeney rode his motorcycle north on Business 35 around 4:15 p.m.
They say a car driven by Velia Martinez, 52, of New Braunfels failed to yield the right of way as she attempt to cross the lanes of that road.
Investigators say Martinez's car struck Godina and threw him from his motorcycle. Godina was not wearing a helmet and died on the scene.
Police say speed and alcohol were not involved in the fatal crash. The crash is under investigation and charges were unknown.
