Fugitive sought in death of girlfriend's daughter Matthew Carrillo charged with capital murder in death of Kayla Garcia, 4
SAN ANTONIO ā San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in finding Matthew Gabriel Carrillo, who is wanted on capital murder charges in the death of his former girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter.
San Antonio police said Carrillo's daughter suffered a major head injury, as well as bruising and, possibly, cigarette burns on her body as the result of a beating.
She died as a result of her injuries in May 2012.
