SAN ANTONIO – One man was killed and another man was critically wounded in a shooting Wednesday night on the city's South Side.
Police said the two victims, who are friends, were walking to a family member's home in the 700 block of Fay Avenue just before 10 p.m., when a car pulled up and dropped off two men.
Moments later, the men shot at the victims seven to 10 times and then ran to the waiting car.
Ernest Ibarra, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.
Witnesses told police they saw the shooters leave in a white Kia.
No arrests have been made.
