Woman arrested in thefts at SA missions

SAN ANTONIO – A 23-year-old woman is accused of stealing from people's cars on the grounds of San Antonio's missions.

An arrest affidavit stated that San Antonio police have linked Adela Morales to one theft on Nov. 22 at Mission San Jose and another on Nov. 30 at Mission San Juan.

One victim told police someone took his musical equipment from his car, while another said his car stereo and tools were taken.

The affidavit stated that surveillance cameras at a property near Mission San Jose captured video of Morales and her car at the scene of the crime.

They said she also has two prior arrests for theft.

The affidavit mentions there was a second person involved in the mission thefts but does not offer any other details about that person.
