2 teens sought in fatal botched drug deal

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers need the public's help in locating two men wanted in a fatal shooting during a botched drug deal.

Police are looking for Gerardo Raul Rodriguez, 17, and Sergio Cisneros, 19, on capital murder charges.

The men are suspects in the shooting of Richard Chapa, 38, on Dec. 29, 2014, police said.

Police said Chapa was one of three people who went to a home in the 5900 block of Stoney Creek to buy drugs when Rodriguez and Cisneros tried to rob the trio.

Chapa was shot in the leg while running to a car, police said. He died on the way to a hospital.

Crimes Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Rodriguez and Cisneros.
