Man arrested in Seguin shooting spree

Isaiah Guardiola, 21, charged with multiple counts of deadly conduct discharging a firearm

SEGUIN, Texas – A man accused of going on a wild shooting spree in Seguin is now in police custody.

Isaiah Guardiola, 21, was arrested over the weekend.

Guadalupe County deputies were called out for a disturbance involving Guardiola and a woman.

He ended up running from the scene but was caught a short time later.

As he was being taken into custody, a witness told the arrested sergeant he had seen Guardiola throw an assault rifle out of the car's window.

The sergeant then realized Guardiola matched a sketch that had been put out last week regarding a series of random shootings.

Guardiola has now been formally charged with evading arrest, marijuana possession and eight counts of deadly conduct discharging a firearm.
