Woman, 95, killed in drive-by shooting

Home in 200 block of Ryan Drive riddled with bullets

SAN ANTONIO – A 95-year-old woman was killed in a drive-by shooting early Saturday on the city's Southeast Side.

San Antonio police spokesman Officer Doug Greene said the victim, identified as Corina Lasoya, suffered a gunshot wound to her upper body.

Lasoya was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where she later died.

Greene said a home in the 200 block of Ryan Drive was riddled with bullets at 1:40 a.m., police said.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, Greene said.
