NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – New Braunfels police are seeking tips from the public on identifying a man they said stole two Yeti coolers from Buc-ee's on Interstate 35.

The man took the coolers on Friday, police said. He tried to steal another cooler on Saturday, but he was stopped by store employees before he could get away with the merchandise.

Police describe the man as a white male, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 135 pounds with short, light brown hair.

The suspect drove a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck during the first theft and a white Buick LeSabre during the second attempt, police said.

Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the man's arrest.
