Prince releases new music video for song 'Baltimore' Song brings attention to deaths of Freddie Gray, Michael Brown No description found
SAN ANTONIO – "Does anybody hear us pray
Those are lyrics from Prince's song "Baltimore" featuring Eryn Allen Kane. Prince released a new music video for the song on YouTube Tuesday (video below).
The video describes the death of Freddie Gray in the custody of Baltimore police, shows the media attention to the case and highlights the peaceful demonstrations that followed. It also features several moments from Prince's "Rally 4 Peace" event in Baltimore in May.
Prince calls the song a tribute to all of the people of Baltimore. According to NPG Records Inc., Prince played all the instruments in the recording.
