Crime Stoppers offers reward of up to $5,000

Wanted in connection with March 21 Walmart robbery at 6703 Leslie Rd.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a robbery of a far Northwest Side Walmart.

According to police, the man (pictured, above) was caught in surveillance images around 11:30 p.m. on March 21 at the Walmart at 6703 Leslie Road.

Investigators said he grabbed a PlayStation 4 gaming console, walked up to a cash register and threatened the cashier with a knife. The cashier told police the man walked out with the PS4 without paying for it and took off in a red, four-door car.

Police describe the man as 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the man's arrest. The number to call is 210-224-STOP (7867). Callers are not required to give their names.
