Man found guilty of sexually assaulting 7-year-old girl

SAN ANTONIO – A jury on Friday found Willie David Floyd, 32, guilty of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl two years ago.

During the trial, the victim testified that Floyd touched her in an inappropriate sexual manner.

During closing arguments, prosecutors urged the jury to find Floyd guilty and to "take away his innocence the way he took away hers."

The case now goes to a judge for punishment.

Floyd could get up to life in prison.
