Poteet man wanted on child sex charges

SAN ANTONIO – It's been more than a year since a Bexar County grand jury indicted Raul Velazquez was indicted on child sex charges. He has not been arrested on the charges.

The US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is looking for Velazquez, 27, for three counts of indecency with a child through sexual contact. He was indicted in October 2014.

"The indictment alleged that Velazquez sexually assaulted and took advantage of a female child who was under the age of 17 years old," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

Velazquez is 5'4" tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was in Poteet, Texas," Bozeman said.
