SA's newest hike and biking trail officially opens
Alazan Creek Linear Trail held its grand opening Saturday
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio's newest hike and biking trail officially opened on Saturday.
The grand opening of the Alazan Creek Linear Trail on the city's West Side took place Saturday morning.
The 10-foot paved path for walkers, runners and cyclists begins near Woodlawn Lake on Texas Avenue and goes to Lombrano Street.
District 1 councilman Roberto Trevino made an appearance at the ceremony, along with members of the San Antonio River Authority.
