Kenneth Lovejoy, 37, wanted for sexual assault of a child

SAN ANTONIO – In the six months since he was indicted on charges he sexually abused a young girl, Kenneth Wayne Lovejoy has stayed one step ahead of officers looking to take him to jail.

The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for help to find Lovejoy, 37.

He was indicted in January 2016 on four counts of sexual assault of a child.

"The indictment alleged that Lovejoy sexually assaulted a female child multiple times on separate occasions. The victim was under the age of 17-years-old," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

Lovejoy has brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.

"His last known place of residence was on the Southwest Side of San Antonio," said Bozeman.
