SAN ANTONIO – A man was transported to the hospital after a stabbing in the back on the city’s South Side.
Police were called out to the 100 block of Illg Sunday around 3 p.m. for a man who was stumbling on the road.

When officers arrived, they discovered the man had been stabbed in the back and cut on the right side of his head.
The victim said he got into an argument with a man in a black SUV. Then the man got out and attacked him.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. Police said they are investigating, but the victim didn’t give them much information.
