Accused child sex predator wanted since Feb. 2013

Gerardo Gonzalez, 53, facing charges for abusing girl

SAN ANTONIO – A man with ties to San Antonio's west side and accused of sexually abusing a girl for several years hasn't been seen since Feb. 2013.

That's when San Antonio Police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Gerardo Gonzalez, 53, on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Officers believe Gonzalez went into hiding to avoid being arrested.

The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force joined the hunt for Gonzalez in June 2015.

"(Gonzalez) allegedly sexually assaulted a young girl over a period of seven years. This victim was under the age of six years old when the first assault took place," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

Gonzalez has brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
