Fugitive sought for 2009 sex attack on Real County teen

Javier Oliva-Resendez, 42, charged with aggravated sex assault of child

SAN ANTONIO – More than seven years have passed since Javier Oliva-Resendez was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. He has never been arrested for the crime.

Resendez, 42, was first featured as a fugitive on KSAT-12 in August 2015.

"Back in February 2009, Resendez allegedly snuck into the bedroom of a little girl and sexually assaulted her while she was sleeping. The victim was under the age of 14 years old. Resendez has not been seen since," Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman said.

Resendez has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

Resendez last lived in Texas, but has ties to Florida and Mexico.
