MIAMI – Texas is home to a lot of rats. Both Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston ranked in the nations Top 25 cities for rat-infested cities ranking.
Not on the list though, Austin and San Antonio.

Chicago has the ignominious honor of being No. 1 in Orkin's annual list of the country's Top 50 most rat-infested cities.
D/FW came in at No. 13 and Houston at No. 21.
The rankings are based on the number of rodent treatment the company performed in the last year, both residential and commercial.
Florida seems to take the crown of most cities ranked. Miami/Fort Lauderdale (13), Tampa (31), West Palm Beach (36) and Orlando (46) also represent the Sunshine State in the "Filthy Fifty."
