SAN ANTONIO – Brandon Breezley, 20, has been arrested on a charge of injury to a child for allegedly slapping a 20-month-old and leaving bruising on the baby's face.
San Antonio police took him into custody this weekend. However, Breezley also may have to answer to the military.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, he is active duty with the U. S. Air Force but assigned to Ft. Sam Houston.
The affidavit stated that Breezley's wife called SAPD last Friday stating that she had received a text message from him in which he informed her that he had slapped her 20-month-old son and left a mark.
Police took photos of the baby at a hospital later and said they noticed a handprint on his face that extended from his chin to his hairline, the affidavit stated.
Breezley was booked into jail with bond set at $10,000.
