Firefighters extinguish vehicle fire

Fire was reported around 6:30 a.m.

SAN ANTONIO – Firefighters worked to put out a vehicle fire that threatened a South Bexar County home Friday morning.

The fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Camp Site Road. 

Firefighters said two vehicles parked outside the home had caught fire and were a total loss. The house however was not damaged by the fire, officials said.

At this time the cause of the fire is not known but firefighters did say they think it was electrical in nature. 

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
