Man shoots neighbor on North Side, renders aid afterward, SAPD says

Shooting occurred in 300 block of Latch Drive

SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot multiple times Thursday afternoon by his neighbor on San Antonio’s North Side, police said.

Police said the 28-year-old walked to his neighbor’s home in the 300 block of Latch Drive, and the pair began to fight.

The neighbor pulled out a gun and shot the man three times, police said.

SAPD said after the shooting, the suspect walked the victim back to his home and rendered aid to him.

A woman at the home called 911, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK, police said.

As of 2:30 p.m., San Antonio police said they were not sure if the suspect would face charges.

Police did not release the name of the victim or the suspect.
